The router is good for the speed upto 100mbps. I recently updated to 200 mbps and i see the router frequently disconnects and need to manually restart the router.

Easy setup

This is the first modem/router I’ve setup myself. The app instructions are pretty clear and easy to follow. I haven’t had the device long, so I can’t speak to the efficacy of its functions. Otherwise, the purchase is great so far.

The set up was very difficult. I am always very good with electronics, but the set up of password and how the app wanted me to set up a password again and the security questions. It was very frustrating. To this day the app doesn’t work for me. I have to use website and it’s very cumbersome. Other than that the signal was good and this product seems to work well.

It's been a month since my purchase and so far I have been very pleased at the performance. Mediacom offered tech support for a monthly charge that I rejected. I confident, if something goes wrong, Netgear has my service worries under control.

I have no complaints, it is a big step over my old router/modem. It’s especially nice having a two in one device.
