5G is great

The 5GHz option is great but the regular 2.4 GHz is super slow. Had it only for couple weeks now

Been using the ac1600 modem router for about a week now. Up/down speeds are comparable to our old rented modem. Only issue ive encountered, is twice now my wifi enabled water leak detector has lost connection (has never happened in the year we had our old router). The detector then requires a reset, mildly inconvenient, but would be horrible if there was a leak after the wifi dropped... Might need to try updating the modem firmware, might solve the issue. Just odd that it has happened so frequently.

Solid entry-level modem/router

Solid modem/router combo that works well in our mid-sized home (~2k square feet). Some dead zones at ends of house away from modem/router but not surprised. Very satisfied with internet speed.

Drops calls

Cannot work from home. Calls are dropped. Netflix movies trip and voices become off. Sometime not able to watch selected movies.
