Overall okay but unstable

I am using this modem with Xfinity as a provider. When we rented the Xfinity modem, we could get the seamless internet. When we bought this modem and connected it, the signal goes off about once a hour. It annoys but we live with it.

Easy set-up

I bought this modem with router to replace an old one. It was super easy to install, and then I was online again. I want my tech to be useful and part of that is being easy to use. Works great- fast, connective modem.

Basic modem router, works.

A little outdated now for its specs. Had a bit of trouble setting it up but the net gear staff helped out with the new DNS settings. The connection is slow, and I am hoping to resolve it soon with Comcast/net gear.

Xfinity required replacement of old router-modem and picked this NETGEAR unit. Once I got it authorized by Xfinity, which was overly time consuming, it worked great.

easy to log into, works well with Xfinity, allows me to set up two wifis (regular and 5G), ( two optional guest wifis). have had for going on 3 years and so far no problem

So far our new router has done what it needs to do, provided internet for a home of devices over a short distance at a moderate speed. We do not pay for fast internet; we have a small home, and this router has performed as expected for 200 mBs in an apartment.
