This modem/router combo is amazing. I've only had it for a week and couldn't have asked for a better product. I'm able to connect to quality wifi seamlessly. It helps me stay connected to all of my devices including all of my ring devices without interruption or slowing down.

I am not technology-friendly, but this router made it so easy to use that it changed everything. I'd recommend to anyone looking for an accessible price modem.

overall it performs OK

Overall it performs good. I have a lot of internet buffering and going in and out but I suspect its not because of the router itself. I've out grown the bandwidth since I'm running a lot more devices wirelessly including new wireless outside security cameras. I'm thinking 75 Mbps needs to be increased especially when you add in streaming. for now I limit how many device I have active and streaming at once, but the router itself works fine.

Great, but not without flaws

The C6250 isn't without flaws, but I haven't found many so let's get them out of the way first. Before I start, I would like to apologize if some of the terms I use aren't entirely correct. I hope what I'm referring to still makes sense though! Now, let's begin with the Netgear Genie.
The interface is easy to understand. Navigating between each dropdown-tab is quick, and the location of each tool and setting makes sense. However, whether it's due to the hardware itself or not I don't know, opening each page seems to be slow. Say you're on the default page as you just logged into your router which in the Basic-Home tab and you want to change some settings with your Traffic Meter (good tool for metrics, more on that later), you'll have to navigate to the Advanced-Advanced Setup tab. While you don't have to wait for every step of the way to get from point A to B to load, if you find yourself tweaking multiple settings at once then you'll find that one second of waiting adding up fast; especially so if you need to add multiple port forwarding rules which can be mildly annoying if you're the impatient sort! -Overall 3/5, easy to understand but the short waits can add up. Your mileage may vary. Now for the aforementioned Traffic Meter. I like the tool! I would like to see it in the Basic tab of the Genie, with how easy it is to learn and especially with an increasing amount of ISPs imposing data caps the Traffic Meter is becoming an increasingly relevant tool to learn. Beyond this tiny nitpick I would also like to see detailed data usage per device. This feature would save me and I'm sure countless others a headache of going through each device and save us the guess-work of finding the misbehaving device. Truthfully I don't know anything when it comes to making something like this happen, but maybe there's a way to make it happen at least through software? Perhaps the IPs -Overall, 4/5. Great tool, could be better.
