After reading many reviews online about Netgear’s modem and router products, I have decided to purchase one and connect it to my Xfinity service. I must say the set up was quick and easy. I’ve done multiple Speedtests and this modem/router definitely delivers as promised.

I get a weak signal at 40 feet away. No way it will work any further away.

Self help activation with cable service

Not a seamless activation process with self-help cable service. Nighthawk app act8vation was restarted 4 or 5 times before successful activation. Also doesn't recognize net gear wifi router connection to modem but works with links product.

Nighthawk app activation process took 4 or 5 attempts before cable service recognized/registered device. Also still troubleshooting separate netgear wifi router 6330 ethernet connected to 6250, but 6250 works fine with linksys wifi router ethernet connections

Awesome Modem / Router

Bought a modem/router to replace my aging modem. The setup wasn’t too difficult pretty straight forward and depending on your Internet service provider it gives you the options on how to your modem going. I have Spectrum which required me to call but the setup has the phone number so it was pretty easy to get it all set up. The wifi signal is great, we normally have about 7-8 devices connected to the Wi-Fi and have not experienced any lag or disconnection issues. Overall I would highly recommend this to someone who is looking to have a strong and steady wifi signal.
