Can't hook to 5g wifi when I get it to hook to it the next time fails

I bought a new router because my service was going in and out. The new router did not fix the problem. I think it is my provider.

Fantastic Device

The Netgear AC 1600 WiFi Cable Modem Router (C6250) works perfectly with our Xfinity internet service. We don't pay for cable tv, only stream with a Roku tv. Our TV viewing is perfect, and the signal reaches into our office 2 rooms away. We don't do online gaming, so I cannot say how it would work for those of you who do. For all our uses, it's great!

Great modem that handles up to 600mps. It covers my entire one story 1800sq ft house.
