Good for family, amazing distance

My house is about 1600 square feet. I have no problems getting amazing speed all through out the house and even to the end of my really long drive way.

Netgear Router

I absolutely love my Netgear AC1600 router. It has been extremely beneficial to all of my devices when it comes to network support. I have the dominion to control the accesses of my network strictly from the phone in my hand. Internet speed and services are superb. I highly recommend this product to anyone in search of routers, etc.

Seems OK so far, Nighthawk Doesn’t Work

Was having trouble with a Surfboard modem with a Netgear R6260 attached after doing the latest update through Nighthawk. Decided to replace it with a modem/ router combo, the C6250. Set up in Nighthawk kept stalling at the “firmware out of date” stage. I was able to get into the settings through my MacBook but couldn’t find any settings to update it. Turns out with the modem, Spectrum is responsible for updating it. It had the latest update according to anything I could find. Tried doing setup again, deleting the app, all of it. Nothing worked but oddly I was able to download the old Netgear genie app and that works fine. Just seems like I lost a lot of features that I was used to with Nighthawk. Speeds seem the same as before and it’s not dropping the connection so all in all I guess it’s an improvement.
