Short Life

After one year of ownership, the wireless signal dropped an average of to 20 Mbps within 1m of the router (used three devices). Connecting via LAN at this time yielded 350 Mbps. I’ve had three NETGEAR cable modem/router combos in the last five years, so I decided to go with Motorola this time instead.

I purchased a NETGEAR AC1600 WiFi Cable Modem Router for a guest house. It delivers a strong signal! It also has an Ethernet (if needed) for some at home office work I do. Netgear delivers quality and is compatible with my Google Home

Good with Xfinity

I have been using using it since a month with Xfinity and I haven't found any trouble with the modem till now. The setup and range is very intuitive and secure to operate. And it covers more than 100 meters from my home.

The best decision for me

I was so sick and tired of renting my box and this little thing has been faster as well as more reliable and I have one as a backup in case of an accident that's how good it is. The app threw me off a bit when the firmware update came through but it was a lot simpler to fix then I thought. No complaints here at all.

Easy, easy, easy

Netgear really killed it with this router. Set up was fast and simple with their app, and the router covers everywhere in my house. I haven't experienced a drop signal yet. It took me more time to get Spectrum set up than it did for me to get my network running.
