I had to get geek squad over twice to get it running. Not sure if the difficulty was with the moden router or my printer.

I replaced my gateway from the standard optimum modem router and seen a way better difference. No more dropped internet way better speed. And no more rental fee. If your in Brooklyn or NYC in general you can replace the junk they bring you with this. Just called them to setup and after you install it.

UI in the browser is not well designed. Had to download the Nighthawk app (which appears to be unrelated to my specific router) to access more settings.

Pretty strong signal for the most part. No interruptions or anything like that. Some late nights (around 2-3am) I do have trouble streaming movies or shows. Or it will say the WiFi is not connected to my Roku. But other than that the signal is usually strong and the speed is fast.

Good Price, Good Modem

The modem is easy to setup and works with Suddenlink. Provides good coverage for 2500 square foot home. Even covers the guest room but does drop and slow down in the guest. Had issues with Zoom but once I switched to 2.4G instead of 5G it worked. Modem works with Smart appliances, Ring, and streams well.
