Seamless installation. No fuss instructions. Nighthawk app works very smoothly. Wifi - both bands work effortlessly. The modem also looks good.

Netgear AC1600 Modem Router

This product sucks. It tells you that you need to update it and that you are suppose to get with your cable provider but they said it is the Netgear company who is suppose to do the update. Then the app you are suppose to use to update it wont work. About every hour the router disconnects. The Netgear company tells you that you can join their Support Field for a price to get assistance. I am currently looking for a different router, not a Netgear

Sadly disappointed

I purchased this modem/router combo because of Netgear’s reputation and the ratings of this particular device. However, upon set up the app was not overly helpful. Ever since setting it up our downloads speeds have been awful. We cannot have multiple devices running or none of them will work. I even upped our internet speed. Will likely be returning.

It’s a good company and WiFi but setup is very confusing and I had to connect to my cable service. Other than that it’s pretty good.

A friend helped me hook it up. Only problem we encountered was the sticker was not on my box but we found the needed information on the equipment.
