It does the job

Ok, mind you I’m not the best when it comes to setting up modems or modem-routers like this one. I had a rather difficult time setting this one up. The online help wasn’t that great, and getting to the site where I can change the default password proved to be rather difficult. I was immediately prompted to download a more updated software, but for some reason it instructed me to do it, but would it let me. I even got my friend that’s more than decent with computers, help me set the modem-router up, and he was not able to get the software to update either. I don’t recommend this modem router for beginners or anyone that has doubts in setting one up. Make sure you have someone that is familiar with this kind of technology. Thank you.

Easy to Set Up

I purchased this for my first apartment with no experience setting up this type of device. The guide given paired very well with the guide Xfinity gave me, so the set up for everything was super easy and simple!

Our connection point is in a closet. The Cable Company supplied unit had a medium signal but also had a monthly rental charge. Purchased this item

Good for Small Apt

Bought a week ago for small one-bed apt. Connection is good and net speed is good. Also connected to Xfinity TV box for streaming and it works well.
