Good modem

Decent modem with good WiFi and speed for loading streaming services and videos. One complaint, it is not a very simple set up for WiFi ..and instructions are poor. That being said, once it was set up, I am happy to be saving $14 month on rental of cable modem and found it to have better speed than the 200 mbs/sec supplied by Comcast. Download was in neighborhood of 239-245 and upload was 14-16.. rather than the 10 supplied.

I purchased this because my old non-netgear modem/router combo kept disconnecting randomly throughout the work day. I work remote so it was a major headache. Purchased this WiFi modem/router combo and couldn’t be happier! I went with Netgear because of the name (brand) and reliability. Set up was easy peezy and the tech support was second to none. I dreaded setting this up because I’m not tech savvy but netgear made it easy and (dare I say) enjoyable! Don’t question yourself- get this product!

Fast, reliable third party router

I am so glad I purchased this modem/WiFi router to replace my Xfinity gateway. I get better WiFi reception and my internet speeds are a lot faster.

What a great way to save money and get the signal we need. Three online all day...barely any more issues than we would have normally. And we save every month NOT renting it from the cable company!

Great for small places

I live in a 1500 sq. ft townhome and this modem works well, but there are some dead spots. I would suggest using this modem in a 1 story home. If you have a 2nd story you will most likely need a wifi extender/booster
