Increased Speeds and Wifi distance

Replaced older Netgear cable modem router and the installation was pretty easy and we immediately noticed increased speeds, faster downloads, and further wifi distance. It was a night and day difference. I think the data is actually being used more efficiently also. I wish i would have upgraded one year ago when we went into lockdown and upgraded our wifi speeds.

This was to replace my 7 year old Netgear modem router. It meets my current needs for streaming TV and other wi-fi enabled devices plus it will accommodate many more devices.

There were a few issues at the start, but they somehow fixed themselves as we were setting up. It was frustrating, but so far the router has been great!

Netgear AC1600 was easy to hook up. The trouble was with me. I am not very smart with computer stuff. I did have to call Netgear for support since I was not able to get my printer hooked into the WiFi nor my cell phone. It was not Netgear at all. It was a simple easy fix which they helped me with. The person on the phone from Netgear was helpful and respectful and pleasant. Once I made the adjustment everything worked and it works very well. Like I said it was all me. I was frustrated to say the lease but once I called Netgear and they helped me quickly and easily I realized it was me being a dummy. I am very pleased with my new modem router from Netgear. I have always used Netgear and will continue to do so. Netgear really is a fantastic product.
