Perfect M4 Mac Mini Compliment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to replace a series of portable external SSD's I had connected to my Mac Mini. I also wanted to eliminate the USB-C hub, also attached to my mini. The Thunderbolt 5 CubeDock did both! I attached the CubeDock to my Mini and verified that the ports were all available and functioned properly. Then I added an 8TB SSD to the CubeDock. It was instantly recognized in Disk Utility and I formatted it, then created my desired volumes. It has been working flawlessly ever since. The read/write speed compared to the portable SSD's is remarkable.

Exactly what my new Mac Mini 4 needed

In addition to the SSD enclosure that works great, I have now all of the ports and potential connections my system needed. Easy to set up, and almost unlimited options. This device takes a really good Mac Mini4 and makes it great - don't hesitate, if you have a Mac Mini, you need this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have purchased many Docks over the past 20+ years and this one really fills the bill. Well built and matches my Apple Desktop perfectly. It is hard to find a system as good as this with full Thunderbolt 5 features and the additional NVMe SSD storage available.

I am absolutely loving the integrated NVMe drive option and the incredible TB5 speeds.If I had a complaint, and I have to, it is that this thing gets HOT!!!! I mean, like shockingly hot. We will have to see if this has any effect on the longevity of my NVMe or the dock as a whole, but as of now everything works exactly as described and intended.

Product delivers as promised but the directions are sometimes difficult/hard to find. ChatGPT did a decent job guiding me around but better instructions for handling and use would be appreciated.
