Nice bright picture but, need to fool around with display settings tirelessly to show a DVD movie. (Doesn't switch automatically between displays easily).

The unit was very easy to set up and the picture guilty was very good. We're using it for our backyard movie nights. The only draw back to the unit was no audio outputs. We were able to work around this but was not expecting to have to. Over all nice unit.

The EX 5200 is perfect for my classroom use. It has superior resolution to the previous projector I used. I love the "search" feature that allows me to easily switch from my computer to the DVD player. For quality and value the EX 5200 cannot be beat.

I've always wanted a projection system, and now that I have technology workshops to help bridge the "Digital Divide" it's turned into a dream come true! Thank you for a system that lives up to its specs, and advertisements.

I have spent a lot of money for this projector and am disappointed with how it works with my high end laptop. the clarity is simply not great and no matter what I do it will not get much better. what a waste of a lot of money!

A good projector

It was time to move up from an older Sharp (800X600) projector and the Epson seems to be an excellent step up.
The outgassing as mentioned by others is pretty intense for the first 2 hours of use. If that can be done in a garage or outdoors, it would be best. I'm so glad not to have turned it on around anyone with chemical sensitivities because they would have left.
Having keystone controls right on top of the projector and on the remote is really handy. I had to reset this each time I turned the projector on again even though it hadn't moved.
Multiple inputs is useful. Now I can use that S-video out from my DVD player. It's marginally better than using the Video Out (RCA plug). Can't wait to see what can come from a laptop or Blu-Ray player.
Anything 'off' about the image can be adjusted - there are controls for everything. And it is good to know that in "eco" mode, the image is still plenty bright.
Overall - a good purchase after the first few hours of use.
