The quality of color, clarity and brightness is exceptional, right out of the box. Having compared several models and brands, the spec's on this unit were impressive considering the price.

Works fine. It is bright and sharp up to 30 feet.
Needed improvements-The power cord is too short. I had to buy an extension cord. The fan noise should be reduced.

Nice Projector

My wife and I have been using it to do training on some new materials being distributed by our faith group. We generally have 20 people in each session. We love the easy set up and its light weight. We have carried it on a plane several times so portability was very important to us. We really like the ability to put a Power Point presentation on a Flash drive. That has enabled us to travel and do the presentations without having to take a PC with us. Like it very much!

When I first got this & tried it out,I found it very easy to use & set up. The colour & image is very good. I took it over to a friend's place & played a virtual golf game on it,it was fantastik. I would highly recomend this.

Wow! A Great Little Machine!

Once I got the remote figured out I was good to go. The technician who responded to my panicked call was great...patient and understanding of my frustration.
This amazing little machine enabled me to do my presentations conveniently and with no trouble at all.

It really is Plug and Play!

This projector is a dream come true. It was very easy to set up. Just had to put in the CD from the box to get the files. As I am a Mac user I had a problem with a blue screen but this was easily fixed by going to preferences and clicking detect displays. When I enter my password it was up and running. This was done in just minutes. So easy to use. The image was fabulous even in a lit room. I was told I needed to buy a cord to connect to my MacbookPro book but I found one included in the box. Now I just have to return the extra one.

I had extensively researched both DPA and LCD projectors, read all of the reviews, determined my needs and what I want out of a professional projector, and made my decision prior to going to the store.
First of all, this projector is very attractive. I also like the fact that it comes in an attractive, light-weight, padded case with an adjustable strap and large front compartment to house the cords and remote control. Since I've added an extension cord to the mix, which makes the compartment a bit more bulky than intended, I've added an additional velcro strip at each end under the flap so it will lay flat.
The projector set-up with my laptop is easy. The controls on the projector are self-explanatory and easy to use. The brightness, color quality, and sharp detail are fantastic -- even in a well-lighted room! I'm still playing around with the remote to determine how far away I can stand and where I can walk around and still have it work. I am a very satisfied customer!

My initial impression is that this is a very simple machine to operate. At the same time I find that when using the usb connection and when showing a powerpoint the animations of words are jerky when appearing. But when I use the Component Video connector the animations flow as expected. I have a new MacBook 2.8 GHz machine.
