Install Disk would not work for network use, error said it was missing a program. down loaded program for network from epsons site with no problem. printer working fine.

If you have a 64 bit, Windows 7 system, you must download the "Drivers & Utilities Combo Package" (upgrade 12/10) from their website to be able to set-up a wireless connection. I wish there was a way they could let people know about such requirements. I tried loading the 2010 CD disc included with my Workforce 633 printer purchased 5/9/11 3 times, all which resulted in an "Installation Failure". In writing an e-mail to Epson for help, I was directed to a Customer Help site that listed various solutions I could try to resolve the problem. This is where I was directed to the above download. After doing so, everything loaded perfectly according to the Quick Start Guide and Instruction Book. I now have wireless on my desk top, the printing speed is great, color is fantastic, and scanning is easy and efficient. I have not yet tried faxing, but all is well now in the kingdom! It looks like it will be a great product.

The printer works fine but Epson never shipped the software or the power cord with this unit. When trying to install the scanner software an error message occured . Now I am waiting for Epson to send the disc.

I highly reccomend this Epson, all-in-one! To begin with the installation process is very simple for both wireless and cable. The quality of printing is one of the best I have ever used. This printer is also economically good as the print cartridges last longer than other printers I have had.
If you are looking for a problem free, easy to install, good quality printer/scanner this is your way to go!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just got this printer But It seem to be working fine and the set up was a breeze. I am happy with the features I got for the price. the double sided printing is especially nice.The neat software included was also a nice bonus!
I also LOVE the wireless feature that allows my son to print from his computer. I was skeptical about me being able to set the wireless feature up because Im kind of what you would call "Technology Challegened", BUT the instructions were clear and I had no problems. Thanks Epson!

Epson 633 Great in Ubuntu 11.04 !

Epson has made a truly great little offering with the WorkForce 633 printer. I opened the box, took off the packing tape, plugged it into a wall outlet, usb cord to Ubuntu based pc. Turned machine on, went to printers, asked it to find a driver. Driver downloaded and installed automagically-no further input needed. Great print quality!
But when I register it....under "Operating System"...guess what 2 choices I'm offered....
Windows and Mac.
Too bad. Oh well...at least we luggers know what's up.
Good job. Now why don't you crow about it a bit!
