My second Epson

This is my second Epson Printer. I found the setup to be so easy. Workforce Is great and after one year stills prints beautiful pictures. Finally found a printer that is great for home and business, so I went out and bought a second one. The Extra Capacity Ink last a long time.

Epson Workforce 633 All-in-one Printer

Good color reproduction and decent print speed. Text print clarity could be better. Ink usage is about average. I use the printer for home use and buy the XL cartridges. I have had the printer for over a year and have used all four functions. I found it to be a good, low cost printer. Wireless performance is very good.

Disappointed

Given Epson's position in the Tech market I would have expected that the 633 WorkForce would accomodate WPA-PSK encryption given the well-known vulnerabilities in the wireless environment currently. There should at least be a software upgrade solution available by now.

Orig quit faxing, replacement refuses to install

Worked quite well for several months, but fax component quit working. After multiple tests online, email and on phone, replacement was authorized. Replacement with exact same model receives and prints faxes and sends faxes. However it refuses to be installed on my computer so I can't print from my computer. Still awaiting resolution.

Epson WF 633 All-In-One

I have had this printer for about 3 years and I can call it Old Reliable. It is WiFi ready, although not for Apple products, and this makes it so convenient to put it anywhere and not need to have it hardwired to the computer. The copies are always clean and the printer never jams. The top-feeding auto tray works like a charm. If the few times I had some less than perfect papers try to feed and got jammed, fixing the jam was easy. The faxing and the scanning work great along with the software. I would recommend this printer to anyone.

Setting up

I just bought the 633. The box says it is compatible with Windows 7. Well, when I tried to set it up with my Windows 7 64-bit OS it did not work.
I went to the website thinking there would be a quick fix for this but could not find anything. I did some searching and found something that might work. I down loaded the file and.... nope it did not work.
Now I am going to get to see how good the phone support it.
Luckily the disk worked for my Mac.
Would not recommend Epson at this point.

Third Day with WorkForce 633

Our former printer died an untimely death at the age of two. (not an Epson). We bought our new Epson WorkForce on 7/17/2011. It is now 7/19/2011 and we have spent the entire time trying to setup our desk top and laptop to this printer. The instructions are clear but we have having a very bad time trying to get everything working again.
