well i must say that i was upset at first ... the scanner wasnt functioning and Epson had an easy fix for it .. so i now LOVE my new all in one . it truly is a great machine and has great software that is easy to use that came with it !! thumbs up on this one ! and they responded fast to my email for tech support too

Not too heavy to carry home. Not too big for the space I had to put it. Packing was good including the ink cartridges. Shows they care about getting an undamaged and fresh product to the customer.
Hook up with a USB cable went smooth and print check page was good quality. Have only done two fast draft pages and they are too light.
Tried to setup a wire-less network with the same computer that set up the USB arrangement. That is not going well at all. Will have to call support tomorrow and spend who knows how long trying to get help.

It's Fast!

Not only do I love the quick speed of this scanner - it also prints fast AND gives me a Auto Sheet document feeder! All for a price I can certainly afford. So affordable - I bought 2 for my office!!!

Software not up to date

I specifically wanted a wireless set up. The literature and software indicated that set up could be done wirelessly. I am unhappy because the set up did not work. I had to call the help desk and ended with them telling me to download the software. It took about 20 minutes to download, but once it did the install was easy. I think the disk should have had the proper software on it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

EASY SET UP

This is a great printer and does it all! I was dreading setting this up as many friends said setting up wireless printers are a nightmare.....NOT SO AT ALL!! It was very easy and took about 1 hour from box to printing! I really appreciated that! I have only printed so far and have not copied, scanned or faxed yet but I look fwd to playing with it soon! Thanks EPSON!

I just pruchased the 633 yesterday. I read all the reviews that I could find. From having a flimsy paper tray to issues with the fax or couldnt get it set up right due to outdated disc..... I had mine set up without any issues what so ever. Fax works great, the printer is very fast and quality appears to be good at the start. The paper tray isnt made of steal but for 99 bucks what do you want. So far I am impressed.

Good Printer, but the software could be better

The printer works great for me up to now ( I bought this printer 5 days ago.)
However one thing I am not satisfied is the software of the printer, including the driver and utilities. Firstly, the installation will create over 5 entries in Programs, if u install driver from the CDROM. it bothers me, if I want uninstall them. Why not just one entry with some options, user could customize what they want. Secondly, the utilizes which provide scan, fax and print functions are separated in different programs, the physical functions are combined in one machine, why not combine the software as well? Thirdly the icon of the printer management in notification area is so ugly, absolutely not windows 7 icon style, I think it must be drawn by a technical guy.
