nice system

Just purchased last night so I have not used all the features yet, but I've liked what I've used so far. This system is not all that hard to set up but there were a couple things that left me scratching my head.
This is a wireless system but they tell you it is easiest to configure the printer by connecting it to your computer with a USB cable that is not provided. Yeah, someone was not thinking throught the customer experience with that decision. Yet setting the system up with the pannel on the front of the printer was easy so I'm not sure why Epson went out of their way to aggitate me with the whole USB set of instructions. If you're installing this on a windows 7 64-bit system you'll probably need to download the most recent drivers from the Epson site to connect via WiFi because the CD in my system was apparently missing some files (that was the set up programs terms not mine). I installed the new drivers and my computer connected to the printer without any more issues.
I am quite happy with the scaning/printing functionality and the wireless connection is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Installation problem

The installation software doesn’t allow me to use the printer as wi-fi mode, I followed all the instructions in the user manual, writing all wireless information required, I had to install the printer with the USB cable; I will appreciate any help about this matter.

Price was right to start. Set up was easy. Up and printing in 60 minutes. Test print went well and looks good. So far so good. I would recommend this printer to a friend so far.

Very impressive, the design is almost perfect. Looks and feels very professional and high quality materials. I used all kind of home printers but these one it's something else. Nice colors, very fast responding and very little noisy witch is very good for a printer of it's kind. The Network installation section in the manual needs some more details on how to connect with WiFi because at first you would think you have to choose (install with the cable mode USB) before wirelessly. But what it means exactly is when you choose installing over the Network, you will have to use the USB cable to make sure your printer is shown in your network. It has everything you need. You will not be desapointed. I would give these amazing printer a 8.9/10. You can see it's a long lasting printer and not something cheap. Oh yeah, the front panel is very cool and very user friendly. Anyone will be amazed on how easy it is to use these printer. The only negative side is that it took me an 1 hour and a half to install the drivers and the softwares on a Intel Dual Core 3.4GHz and 4 Gb DDR3 of memory.
I would recommend this to a friend!

install issues

well after about 8 times trying to install this thing on my laptop i can at least print from a usb cable.
I have not been able to get it to print through our wireless network and is driving me to drinking.
It is probably some stupid little setting that i am missing. But from what i can tell it has something to do with the installation. It gives me an error and says that it is missing setup files needed from the onstal disk of which i have done from the instal disk 8 times
I would recommend this to a friend!

Also unable to setup wifi

Tried setting up with automatic dhcp and with manual ip address. Tried WEP, WPA, and no security networks.
pinging the printer while it was on wifi resulted in corrupt packet return. Wifi modem is definitly malfunctioing on this printer.
Forced to use USB cable - stay away from this printer
On the plus side, the printer was easy to setup and the first printout came out just fantastic, but no wifi = returning to store.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
