Fabulous printer for the price! Fairly simple wireless connection and I liked the fact that the software actually prepared me for the information I needed to know "before" I started the process. Someone actually worked on the consumer side of installs. For non wireless installs you do need a cable and once again you are advised "before" you start the installation. I like all of this because I did not waste time which for me is valuable. Now quality.......very good quality prints the first time. I'm happy and I have made $ using it for promotional materials. Thanks ....... Bobby

This review is 4 stars instead of 5 for only one reason, we just set the printer up and have not used all of the features. Of those used, I would rate it a five. I like the feature that it holds both letter and photo paper at the same time, and that it will print both sides without touching the paper. It was easy to set up for wifi printing with our Mac, and I look forward to setting it up with our iPad.

This is my first time with epson and i find it amazing that you can do cd/dvd covers and greeting cards. this is gonna be good for christmas time to make my own christmas cards instead of buying them. I like it when you can put a picture on a cd or dvd and write your title and be creative with it. this is the best printer i have ever bought and it was worth my money.

I HAVE ONLY HAD THIS PRINTER FOR TWO DAYS AND I AM IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY OF OUTPUT AND CONSTRUCTION. THE ARTIC WHITE IS ATTRACTIVE. THE FRONT DISPLAY AND FUNCTIONS ARE EASY TO UNDERSTAND. THE FAST PRINTING SPEED IS NICE. EASY TO SETUP! IT IS ALOT OF MACHINE FOR THE MONEY. TIME WILL TELL THE REAL STORY, BUT I HAVE OTHER EPSON PRINTERS AND THEY ARE GREAT.

So Far So Good

I've only had this printer a week, but it's doing everything I wanted pretty well. It prints CDs/DVDs very nicely. I use SureThing instead of the software provided which just didn't have the feature ST does. (This is on my Windows 7 laptop.)
This printer set up easily and works fine with my Ubuntu Linux laptop, too, though I haven't tried scanning on it yet.
Some quick "complaints".
This printer comes with 6 (SIX) cartridges. Not sure what the benefits of "Light Magenta" and "Light Cyan" are. Would have preferred a "White" so you could print on colored paper.
The paper tray comes out a bit too easy - dropped it once. Fortunately it's OK but could have easily broken as it's just plastic.
The 4x6 photo paper I have is a bit curled and the printer doesn't really do anything to flatten it out during printing.
Still testing some things. Currently I have it connected both by USB cable AND wireless (for my other laptop).

Just got the printer but it was easy to install and I like the wireless feature to be able to print from my Iphone.

I could not be happier with my choice of this printer. The picture quality is fantastic. Since its purchase I have had many opportunities for creating scrapbook pages and photos of my grandchildren. It does all I had hoped for. The Artisan 725 is a great value for the price.

Downloaded software good to my Desk top Dell using a usb cord and following onscreen instructions. The software would not load completely on my laptop with windows 7. The drivers on the download disc needed updated. When I found this out and downloaded the new drivers all went well. It surprised me it loaded well on Windows xp and wasn't up to date with Windows 7.
