WHAT A GREAT PRINTER

I was sceptical when i saw the printer and the price. i did not think the reviews were the truth. Boy was i wrong. The easy to read directions and the follow along dvd made this wireless hook up mucho easy. I was pleased by the photo results with the ease and excellent colors. Although it is a large printer i was able to work around it. the only thing i wasn't happy with was the lack of penguins i thought came with the printer

So Far it prints great. I wanted it for the CD/DVD printing and wireless. Happy to find it is a duplex printer as well. All in all 4.99 stars Disappointed find that it takes apps to print from the iphone / ipads. You cannot print directly from apps like pages, as this is not a apple airprint compatible.

Ordered my printer 1:30pm, on my front pourch by 8am the next day...very fast and easy to set up. only thing you need to do is run the head cleaner mode a few times for all the inks to really open up...

This new out of the box printer took a 2 hour call to support to connect to the computer in peer to peer mode. ((Great Support help, thanks!)) Only unsecured connection could be made. No info in manuals or on-line FAQs.
Now the printer only prints or copies the top one inch of the page. What garbage! It goes back to the store tomorrow.
oh, the scan did work properly but without print and copy this is a small consolation.

This is my second Artisan, and 3rd Epson printer Love the printable CD/DVD feature, makes giving picture CD's more personal, and WiFi features. Epson has gotten a little cheap not including any cables you need for connectivity, so need to purchase, buy, or borrow to get up and running. As with my other Epson printers, you need to make sure you have ink in all the cartdriges as it will not print if even one is empty. Not a good feature. Be careful with cleaning heads too often, as it shortens the life of the printer. Epson Printers have fantastic color and fast speed. And very easy to set up over a network.

Setting up was cake. Test print on plain paper very nice. Just printed 2 4x6 heron I photographed today and I have to say it exceeded my expectation. I have owned many printers this is the first to print the color great on the first run. The only thing I dislike is the price to refill the ink so I hope it will actually print a good amount of photos before I have to refill the ink

700 Replacement

Appears to be an improvement over the 700. I like the white color. The WiFi reception does not seem to be as good as the 700. Needed a higher gain antenna on the router.

Just started using and so far it is great. One thing lacking is both a rear and front feeder. Do a lot of printing where rear feeder is much easier to access than constantly having to open the front feeder to put in paper for things like a greeting card second side printing. Like the front flipping control panel, wireless printing and the versatility. This is my fourth Epson and quite honestly it cost as much for ink cartridge replacements for my RX 680 as it did to replace the printer. The same reason I replaced my RX 620 with the RX 680. Have a hard time understanding why ink replacement cartridges are so expensive. I now have a perfectly good printer sitting in my garage.
