I bought this printer for several reasons, cost of ink,the ability to only replace the color needed, print speed, memerory card reader, usb or wirerless capabilities, and of course great value.I have thus far printed photos, documents and iron on transfers, love the speed and quality of all of them. This is the fourth printer that i have owned and my favorite.

Epson Artesian 725 Printer

I find the Artisan 725 printer to be one of the best all-in-one printers on the market. And the price is very competative. I especially like the software that comes with the printer. The software contains a very good disc design and print program. It also prints pictures using the computer or without the computer. It has a wonderful card reader Iwould buy this printer again and recommend it to a friend.

Epson Artisan 725 Arctic Version

This printer is for personal use, I recently installed a Belkin Arris modem for my Comcast bundled services and first installed the printer on a Toshiba Sattelite P25 laptop without problems, then it was also easily installed on my Mac PPC 10.5.8, it prints very good quality and the copies look very close to the original. The printer defaults to "text" quality and the 8.5" x 11" tray, it you use photo and the 4x6 tray you have to enter your settings for each print as it returns to the default settings.

does not work well for my application

Older printers had multiple rollers. these new printers are not to the standard of the old printers. Sporting one roller, and does not pick up heavier paper. Althought they do work for simple tasks using epson or plain paper, but once you use another manufactures paper of any weight the Artisan 725 does not meet the needs desired...I've gone through two Artisan printers within one week and both could not produced the challange of my production....both units were sent back to the distribution center....We were very disappointed.

Extremely easy to set up on the network. Print quality is very good with true black. Only disappointment is that other than photos, it won't print text and emails from an iPad.

Great Printer

I do print on site photography work. I purchased two of these printers and the regular 725. This version actually gives a slightly sharper print even though the specs are the same. I have printed 4x6's and 5x7's and print quality was outstanding. The amount of ink used from the cartridges was minimum. The Artic version also looks more aesthetically pleasing.

I'd do it again

It's bigger than I thought. Deep, with a pod on the back. Otherwise it has worked perfectly, wireless for printing and scanning. You do have to use their paper if you want to print quality photos. The combination provides excellent color photos.
I like the seperate ink cartridges and it doesn't seem to use a lot of ink. Cartridge prices are decent anyway.
Yep, I'd by another Epson printer again. I have purchased others and have been very disappointed with some important feature. It's Epson for me.

Fine Print

W-O-W This printer is H-U-G-E. Extremely large footprint,
& then pull out the paper drawers. The info mentions this
in fine print, almost hidden. Had I known this I wouldn't have purchased it. Have not yet installed it,, haven't found a place to put it.
