Disappointed

I've had good luck with Epson printers in the past, and wanted small all-in-one to replace an older printer - and this seemed perfect. And it was - for a while. Then it refused to feed, telling me that there was a paper jam or the paper size was wrong. We cleared everything. We bought several other types of paper (it clearly didn't work with our all-purpose, part-recycled paper). We spent a lot of time on the phone with tech support. And finally it worked again - for a while. Every time we add paper, it's a challenge. Sometimes it works, other times we need to clear imaginary paper jams 3 or 4 times, and jiggle all the paper guides before it will print. I've just bought yet another brand new package of paper, and printed four pages before it claimed there was a problem.
I've used a lot of printers over the years, and this is not how it should work. All the types of paper we've tried work fine in our larger Epson printer, and did work in the little one I replaced.
If this worked, it would be perfect. But sadly it does not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Outstanding all in one, compact printer/scanner

What a big bang for the buck and an outstanding value! Just love the color & detail quality of the paper prints, the separate photo paper drawer and it's photo quality prints, and the ease of use of the disc printing feature with it's auto-feeding disc holder...what a joy to use! I appreciate the individual ink cartridges of six shades. No more wasted nor expensive ink cartridges like other makes have. The scan quality is outstanding and makes a nice photocopier as well. Talk about a "jack of all trades, and a MASTER at all of them!" Color printer, photo printer, disc printer, scanner/copier, USB/SD/CF memory device reader and has Wi-Fi built-in....the price was a bargain. Even the white color chasis of this unit matches my iMac desktop perfectly! I bought THREE of these!!!! Great job EPSON!!

This does everything I wanted & more. I love how easy it is to scan photos & then print. Also the ability to have different size paper in paper tray at one time. The quality of printing is excellent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm really happy with both the printer and the support help I get from epson. The photographs that I print are both sharp and have vivid odor.
When i run into a problem I call Epson help and get immediate assistance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Why I love this printer

I love this printer, I was looking for a printer that I can print on CDs/DVDs and the ones that I saw were very expensive and a friend told me about this one and he sent me a link to the site and I saw and read about the printer and he ordered one for me and I just love it. I printer on CDs/DVDs and they look so professional and my friend think I had them ordered.

During the past 12 years I have purchased 5 or 6 Epson printers.
The Artisan Arctic 725 is by far the best printer that I have ever owned.
The speed, quality and photos are fantastic.
Buy this one !!!!
