I bought this packpack as a replacement to an identical one I purchased almost 15 years ago! With only one minor change, it's essentially the same awesome backpack and I was elated to see it hadn't been discontinued.

I bought this backpack to replace a >10-year-old previous Targus backpack. I like the fact that the water-bottle holder fits a normal size reusable water bottle. There are tons of pockets. I don't know that I will use the fold flat feature, but that pocket is good for storing papers and notebooks. The "main" compartment (not the laptop one) is pretty wide at the bottom so I can put my toiletry kit there when I travel and put snacks on top of it. I like the small zippered compartment inside the outermost pouch for keeping my electronic paraphernalia and the two small external pouches.
The backpack seems comfortable and can slide on top of a rolling suitcase (though it is a little heavy on a rollaboard). It seems pretty robust so we'll see how it holds up.
