Horrible Product

Same problems as everyone else- loud noises, mildew smell, leaking under front right and side. We are trying to fix and certain parts are not coming off.

Worse washing machice that I ever bought

I have to say this is the worse washing machine that I have ever owed. I don't ever feel that my clothes get clean. It has the precise water fill but never seems to have enough water to cover the clothes, I spend more time doing laundry because I have to do smaller loads and 9 times out of 10 have to wash them twice.

My 4th GE washer in 47 years, but...

I’m glad to hear this model is no longer being manufactured. It came with a home we purchased a year ago and I was initially pleased to see it was a GE Model. However, that feeling was short-lived. The water saver feature doesn’t use enough water to adequately clean the clothes and there is no way to add more water. Clothes come out super-wrinkled because they’re jammed under the largest item in the load. No matter which setting I use (even Towels/Sheets), the load often ends up unbalanced and I have to run and fix it. I can’t figure out how this washer made it to the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine has a very different type of action. You have to get used to washing your clothes a different way. But if you follow directions, you will get good results. My one complaint is that it does produce more friction in the clothes and thus more lint than my front-loader did, but the clothes come out cleaner. I find that I rarely use the heavy duty setting because it is tough on clothes. One of the gentler settings works well and produces less wear on the clothes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Even when following all the directions & he soap it does not clean the clothes. Very disappointed :(

GREAT PRODUCT

We bought this washer two years ago. And I love it. I can even use my homemade clothes in it. It gets my husbands clothes super clean. I especially like the water levels that correspond to the close weight. And ther is no agitator in it. LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!

Cheap, piece of junk washer!

We've had this GE Washer for less than 2 years. At first I blamed all the grungy white t-shirts on my husband being a slob. Then I realized that my whites were grungy too! Big gray splotches all over everything. Of course by the time I realize something is very wrong, we are way past our warranty, so we call the repair people that the retailer recommended. It took the guy 4 visits to diagnose, order the part, try to install the part, figure out that he couldn't get the bold off, order a new bolt so he can cut off the stuck bolt, and then come back to install it again and not have the right tool to install the bolt. So now about 3 1/2 months later, the same bolt keeps coming loose, the inside ring of the washer tub is getting gnawed up, plastic shredding everywhere. It won't even spin now.
In short, the washer is junk. Wow, I wonder why they stopped manufacturing this?
