I have been married 40 years and this is the worse washer I have ever used. I have owned it for 13 months and the thought of starting another year with this washer makes me sick. The energy saver feature is such a joke when you have to rinse all dark clothes at least twice. I"ve changed detergent, used no detergent, tried everything. Do not buy this machine unless you have more time than money. They should at least give us some trade in value for this mistake.

I agree with the reviews about my clothes coming out of the washer covered with lint residue. I like to hang my clothes out to dry. I cannot do that with this washer. I have to rinse twice if not more and then scrub the lint lines that are trapped in the folds of the clothes before hoping that the dryer will remove the remaining lint. I can't imagine the clothes are clean. I have had it for about a year and i am getting rid of it tomorrow. I am a busy person and I do not need the aggravation this washer has caused me.

I hate this machine!!!!!!!! My clothes never smell clean! Also resent the fact that I have to use a special cleaner to care for it. It might last long enough to make one load smell a little better but that is all!!! I have bought several GE appliances over the years but after this fiasco I probably won't buy anymore!!!

This washer is worthless. If you want to save money on water/electricity, this "HE" appliance is NOT for you. Every load needs to be done 2-3 times to even get semi-clean, towels and sheets need to be set at Gentle/Low to avoid the machine going off balance (even with only 1 towel in the drum) and all your items come out covered in lint. If we could afford a new washer, this one would have been gone yesterday...I wouldn't even put it on the curb.

WORST MACHINE EVER!!!! Dark clothes need to be washed 2-3 times to remove detergent, even when the smallest amount is used. NEVER WILL I RECOMMEND THIS MACHINE!

Not liking after two plus years

I really liked the washer at first not sure about the low water, it washed great. I keep the washer on 2nd rinse because soaps irritates my skin and low water was worrying me. So after 2 1/2 years the transmission is gone and I must replace the washer. Can you believe this no wonder it is no longer being produced. who can buy a washer every couple of years glad I had the extra warranty.

wash tube is breaking apart

Wash tub is breaking apart leaving the basket off center, clogging pump. we will never by GE again.

Biggest piece of junk

I had this washing machine for a few year and started having the same problems as everyone else. The drum started leaking water all over the floor, it was skipping the final spin cycle and was making very loud noises. I will not be purchasing another GE appliance.
