what good is a washing machine that doesn't wash your clothes ? Give me a machine that has an agitator, that I can select and determine a water level, and I'll save the enviroment by not needing additional detergents and multiple washings to Attempt to get my clothes clean with this discontinued machine

We purchased this model with the express purpose of being able to wash blankets just to find out that it will not get them clean. I called the answer center just to be told that if I washed them two or three times that it might get them clean, but it does not. I can't imagine building a washer that will not wash a blanket. A total waste of my money. This is not what I expect from GE.

CLOTHES ARE NOT GETTING CLEAN

My laundry is not clean, nor does it smell clean. Water level is ridiculously low. Lint and threads are left on the laundry. The second rinse feature is useless because it goes through the entire cycle again is used. One cannot tell at what point the wash is at. Seems to take too long, and not clean anyway! I've always had GE washers and have been satisfied in the past, but not anymore. Customer Relations was of no help.

THIS MACHINE, WHICH WAS BOUGHT NEW LAST SUMMER MAKES A HORRIBLE SOUND WHILE AGITATING AND LEAVES MY CLOTHES A WRINKLED MESS. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GOOD OLD DAYS WHEN A PERSON ACTUALLY HAD SOME CONTROL OVER WATER LEVEL AND COULD ACTUALLY RINSE OFF THE DETERGENT CUP AFTER PUTTING DETERGENT IN THE MACHINE? I DO NOT LIKE THIS WASHER AND AM SO SORRY I BOUGHT IT. I HAD NO IDEA WASHERS HAD CHANGED SO MUCH.

Worst washing machine ever!

I purchased this washing machine as well as the GE High Efficiency dryer last November. I am SO disappointed with them both. My clothes do not get clean with one wash and it stretches them out in the "spin" cycle. When I open the lid after the washer has stopped, it looks like there is a jelly fish in there becase the clothes/blankets have been pulled tight across the top. I cannot wash anything I value in it because they will get ruined. The dryer is no better- it doesn't even take the lint off of clothes. Glad they do not make this product anymore- Not what I expected from GE.

I have had this washing machine for 9 months and have NOT been satisfied with its ability to clean clothes at all!! This is by far one of the worst washing machines. It does not even begin to get stains out of our clothes...I have 2 boys involved in all sports and my husband works in industry, so I have alot of laundry and no time to wash the same load 2 or 3 times to attempt at getting them clean! I was so disappointed at how this machine performs.

Dark clothes have lint and residue that often doesn't come out with two additional washes. Makes me wonder what is left behind that cannot be seen on whites. Have used it for 2 years and fed up. GE should issue refunds for this awful product. Certainly not energy efficient.

There is nothing about this washer that I would recommend. As others have stated, it deposits lint on clothing and no amount of sorting, adjusting setting, etc has made any difference. The repairman says it's just poorly designed.
