I bought this through the CBS Morning Deals for my husband. He has always shoveled snow by hand, refusing to get a blower. I thought this would be a "happy medium." WOW! He is one happy camper! We are going through "Snowmagedon" here in PA, and it works great! He notes the ease of use, the distance it blows the snow, and how quickly he is able to clear the snow. Thank you, Snow Joe!

Good budget shovel

I bought this snow shovel earlier this week. Assembly was quite easy but the screws for the handle are very tight and I used a Phillips attachment with my socket wrench to firmly tighten them. We had a lot of snow last week but, after assembling it, I tested it on what was left. The temperature was above freezing and it had been raining so the snow was very heavy. It did a great job clearing snow off our patio in my test.

Excited... but the blade broke on day 2

Looked great. Easy to our together. The second day I used it the blade broke, and now I'm trying to find a new one. Feels like finding the Holy Grail is an easier and less fraught endeavor.

It’s excellent for light snow like routine city sidewalk/steps maintenance, and it’s so easy for anyone to use. It’s not designed for deep plow berms or heavy, wet snow banks but I’m totally satisfied!
