Bought this vac a month or so ago. It is so great! Before this i had the shark duo clean apex. This vacuum definitely does a better job. It does not collect my long hair or my pets hair in the rollers. Very good suction. I would recommend this vacuum!

I bought the Stratos last week, and first use was today. Thus product is very impressive! Normally, it take five or six passes to get my carpet in a condition I formally called clean. If you don't vacuum with a Shark Stratos, your carpet isn't clean!
I purchased the pet package that came with the steam mop. It was equally impressive! I don't think my house has ever been this clean!

We were committed Dyson users- but took a pause to try something new- and holy crap, I cannot believe we didn't know we were missing out on the greatness that is the Shark!!! It was easy to put together, lightweight, and I was impressed (and disgusted) at the amount of pet hair I picked up in our house AFTER using our old Dyson. I will never go back. The suction is awesome, all the bells and whistles, the weight- it's awesome!!!

This is the beast vacuum I have ever had. It works amazing, picks up everything, the suction is great. This vacuum is not heavy and is very easy to use and change out attachments. I am so happy I made the investment for this vacuum!

I have been trying to find a vacuum that could handle my thick carpet and extreme dog hair, this is the one! Most others bogged down in my thick carpet, even the ones with adjustable height setting. I have three Australian Shepards that create an insane amount of dog hair. This vacuum gobbles it up with zero hair wrapping around the roller. This vacuum is a bit pricey but in my case worth every penny!

Good with a few drawbacks

This is the first upright vacuum I have ever owned, it does a great job cleaning. However, that power comes with a heavier unit that leaves my traps and arms fatigued after use. I miss the comparatively weightless canister wand with a long hose. The length of the Stratos hose is way too short; when I use the wand release feature, the unit always falls over, even when I am only extending in a small space, nearly hit me in the face several times. I was very excited for all of the attachments available, but without a longer hose, many are useless. The "under appliance" tool is a great concept, but cannot fit under most of my appliances; a thinner and flexible tool would work better.

I searched for a long time for the replacement for my Shark Navigator Lift away. Had it for so many years but it was failing and I badly missed having attachments and flexibility to reach cobwebs between the beams. This vacuum has that and more. The suction is incredible. And the attachments get me not only to those cobwebs, but ceiling fans and under appliances and couches. I really got my money's worth. Why not 5 stars? It's a little heavy, the cord is kind of stiff and those deodorizer packets are way too strong.
