Vacuum works well. Warranty helped as they did not have parts in stock for repair so they replaced our vacuum at no charge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not worth the price

The motor went out on the vacuum and it is NOT hair wrap free. Hair is constantly getting wrapped around both brush rolls and the main brush roll got torn up very quickly. I am becoming more and more displeased with Shark and even more so because their generated responses state that they will relay information to the warranty departments but nothing ever changes. These vacuums are far too expensive for them to be misleading on what they will fix / replace.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There's no doubt this vacuum has really strong suction, but it’s Heavy and hard to Maneuver! I bought on sale and tossed the box before I realized it’s hard for me to use! So I’m stuck with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This works great on hard floors,carpet, and even area rugs! I’ve never owned a vacuum like this and I’m very impressed with it. Suction is amazing, parts feel durable, and most of all it’s not any bigger than other models.

A great vacuum!

My last shark vacuum was 7 years old and this is the newer version of the same one I had. To be clear, my old one still works but I had a small piece of plastic break off the bottom and it occasionally scratched my floor or caught in my rug so I wanted to update it. The old one is retired to the basement so I don’t have to carry up and down the stairs which I’m grateful for. I noticed right away that the suction on the new one is incredible and it feels like it’s easier to move around, maybe lighter? We’ll see how it handles hair wrapping in the future the more I use it. My only complaint is that the cord is shorter than what I’m used to so it changes how I need to vacuum. It’s fine but I think a longer cord would be better in general.

Don't waste your money

I bought this a year and a half ago and it is broken. The pet and human hair gets wrapped around the ends of the roller and jams the roller which sets off the red lights meaning there is a jam. There is no way to take the roller out to clear the hair jam as in my previous shark. So, it can't be used. I'm donating it and going to try another Shark and I'm hoping that I can get the roller out of that one. I never liked it from the get-go. It is very hard on your wrists trying to turn it and it is hard to push. You get a super work out pushing it around. The hose is also shorter than I would like. The only good thing I can say about it is it does have good suction. So, for the money I spent I would not recommend this model.
