I’ve had the navigator for a couple of years and love it. So when wanting an extra vacuum I decided to shop shark again. Saw the new stratos and figured I’d give it a go. This vacuum is amazing! Love all the tools, suction is better, easier to maneuver and all around better design. I do agree with some of the other reviewers that stated they wish there was a light on the detachable wand. Other than that, love love love!

I am happy with my vacuum. Things that would make it better are some extender hoses for hard to reach areas, and it is very heavy; much heavier than I expected.
But I don't have to clean the hair out of the roller, so that is a win!

Odor reducing Technology STINKY!!!!

I just got my vacuum. Even ordered extra odor neutralizing packs. So dissatisfied! They are just a stinky glade plug-in like gel disk. I assumed it was an additional filter. I’m trying to pull the toxins out of my house not blow them throughout. Good news I can remove the scented disc. Bad news I paid for a feature I can never use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I paid a little more for this stratos than I ever thought I would pay for a vacuum. My other shark hose broke right at the handle this one seems to have a little more give than my other one. Which wasnt cheap either. I like the bigger cannisters. Just hope this one is made better than my last one.

Great vacuum

I have bought the last 4 shark vacuums. They work great until they don't. They last about 2 years. Every single one of mine quit right in the middle of a vacuum. The vacuum just shuts off. They tell me to take it to their authorized repair shop which is about 45 minutes away. But I have to pay for the repairs. I don't even know what to say.

Works extremely well. We've gone through two Dysons. The Shark works easier and better than our Dyson "Animal" did on it's best day. Shark is lighter, more powerful, easier to empty and less complicated. Pet hair is no longer a challenge. We have several Golden Retrievers.
