Purchased three months ago. I am very familiar with Shark vacuums seeing how that is all I used for the past 20 years. Shark has done it again with providing power, size and mobility. I gave it four stars only because on other models, when you removed the to handle to clean with attachments, you had a LED light on handle. The LED lights are amazing and take the Shark to whole new level. Not sure why this option was omitted seeing how it has been on older models. Thank you Shark!

What I like best about it is taller than the previous shark vacuum I had which means I do not have to bend down while cleaning. Suction is great and the attachments are perfect.

I have had a dyson for over 10 years but have multiple shark:ninja products. When my dyson died I wanted a shark. The vacuum is amazing! It picked up dirt even after I vacuumed with the dyson 2 days prior.

I have used my Shark Stratos 4 times. It is exciting and disgusting to see the amount of dirt that is coming out of my carpet! Here are what I find to be the pros and cons: Cons - as several people mentioned, the unit is heavy. It is taking me some time, but I am learning to maneuver the beast. Because of the larger head and bigger collection canister, it does not go as many places as my old Shark. Fortunately, it comes with a huge variety of attachments. The 2 spots designated to hold extra attachments are in such an area that the attachments often get knocked off.
Pros - the suction is AMAZING! The unit has lots of attachments and comes a part in a variety of ways to get to the places you need to. The collection canister is big, so I only have to empty it twice instead of 5 times.

We bought the Stratos after our Kenmore inteliclean finally gave out after 20yrs. Wow, what a difference! We could not believe what we were NOT getting out of our carpets. We have 3 cats and the amount of cat hair buried in the carpet fibers almost made us sick. We watched the videos and did our research before buying. I was skeptical but am pleasantly surprised that the Stratos is living up to its billing. Granted it's been only 3 weeks but we've put it through its paces using every attachment especially once we realized how truly dirty our carpets and hardwood floors truly were. Easy to use, the spinning hand brush and the long handled under furniture and bed wand work fantastic!!! The only annoying problem we've noticed is that it trips every power strip that we use every approx 10 mins of use. We have to stop, reset the strip and continue. Other than that 0 complaints. Hopefully we'll get many many years of usage. Being that it's Sharks newest model, no way to determine how well it's built and how long it will last?
