If you like a vacuum that provides a strenous cardio workout, this is not your best choice. If you consider vacuuming an upper body workout, this is not your vacuum. If you enjoy vacuuming your stairs and feeling like you just lost an hour of your life forever, keep shopping.
Now, I will warn you this vacuum is loud. Have you ever used one of the vacuums at the gas station? You know, the ones that you are concerned whether it may suck the floorboard out of your car? Well, with great powers comes some volume. That being said, this vaccum is everything I've wanted in a vacuum for five years. I bought a Shark about five years ago at a major chain store but didn't have access to the GOAT. So, if you have animals that shed, buy this vacuum. If you love super clean floors and carpets, buy this vacuum. It is self propelled, it goes under most furniture. The lift off feature is fantastic. Now let's talk about the rollers, nothing has clogged them yet. I have three dogs and cat. They all shed. I have medium long hair and I shed. I have a kitty litter situation. This vacuum wipes out all of those problems and does not clog, choke, lose suction. I may love this vacuum as much of one of my children, okay, not that much, but I love this vacuum. Buy this vacuum. DISCLAIMER: No one in my family including myself is now or has ever worked for the company or any subsidiary or corporation related with whoever owns and makes Sharks. I am just a super fan.

I bought this a few weeks ago and I couldn't wait to use it! and Wow! it works better than my other Shark Vacuum, where I have to keep cleaning the brush roll. The only thing I wasn't expecting is how big it is, compare to my old one. It is also a bit heavier, but other than that I love it, especially if you have a dog.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had this vacuum for several months now, and can say it is the most powerful vacuum I have used. I love that the roller doesn't get wrapped up in hair, and am shocked at how much dirt and dust it pulls up. It does a great job and gives a thorough clean. My only reason for 4 stars is that it is very HEAVY. Keep that in mind if you are wanting a lightweight machine, this is not it. However, it is a fantastic vacuum.

The vacuum works great! I have long hair and pets and my carpets felt brand new afterwards! Easy to empty. Down fall is that it’s so good, it destroyed my cord on the vacuum when I accidentally ran over it (trying to vacuum holding an infant who wanted to help).

We bought this vacuum about 2 weeks ago, and it is everything Shark advertised. My husband and I had been looking and we happened to come across an informercial. We watched and did our due diligence and read the reviews from multiple sites. The Stratos picks up on hardwoods and leaves nothing behind. Wonderful!!!!!
