Not my favorite

I wanted to love this vacuum since it’s the newest, “best” model, but I don’t. I didn’t really see any difference esteem this model and my Apex Duo Clean.
I dislike that this newer model does not have the led lights on the wand. I find that so helpful when vacuuming cobwebs or along walls.
This Stratos vacuum also just suddenly stopped turning on one day about a month into using it. The power button wouldn’t do anything, so I had to return it to the store.
Also, I would love to have a better hose on these vacuums. They’re too short and rigid and make the vacuum fall over if you have to extend it far. Please fix this!
I’m looking into replacing my current vacuum but will probably opt for the next step down from this since it already failed me once.

So happy I purchased this vacuum. The amount of debris that comes out of my carpet after using this vacuum is incredible. I had my friend try it because I was raving about it and she ordered one too. Truly. Impressed.

This vacuum is so amazing!! I own a Rainbow & a Dyson and neither one can compare to my Shark. I actually want to vacuum, my house smells so good and is so clean after I vacuum. So far this week I have taken time out of my busy schedule to vacuum three times!! Love it!!!

I have been a Shark fan for many years. Due to finances we purchased another brand about 6 months ago - a total waste! The old adage of "you get what you pay for" is SOOO true! We just went back to our preferred brand ,and bought the Stratos! I just love it!! The power, the quality, and even the looks. We will never go bak!!

This is my second Shark vacuum, and I loved the old one, the reason I bought this one is so I can move the old one upstairs.
My new Stratos is much improved and I loved the old one. Even better suction than the old one and the on/off switch is on the handle, nice. VERY HAPPY!!!

I have owned several shark vacuums in the past and recently upgraded to the Shark Stratos. I have carpet as well as hardwood floors. I really wanted to love this vacuum considering I have all my other shark purchases, but the Stratos was just not designed as well as I though it was going to be. The maneuvering of the vacuum cleaner in itself is difficult, not only on carpet but the hardwood as well. The rubber fins may be necessary for the tangle free brush roll but they are not adequate enough for carpet or thick piled rugs and makes it incredibly hard to push around even if the suction on it is adjusted to low. I will say it does a good job on hard floors but the machine itself is way heavier than previous models so be aware if this will be your usual go to vacuum. I love shark but for now I will continue to use this as well as a different brand cordless vacuum cleaner for my more often cleans.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
