Love Our Shark Stratos!

We have two dogs and two cats. We love how the Stratos cleans up the pet hair and the ease of cleaning up under the furniture!

I vacuumed with my old vacuum and then vacuumed the same room with my new Shark and was amazed/disgusted by what was in the bin.
My only complaint is they don’t appear to sell replacement filters. I always buy replacements so I can insert them while the originals are drying after washing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this to replace my shark rotator, Thought getting the pet one would be great since I have two long hair mainecoon cats.
Not only did it not pick up the cat hair it just pushed it around the carpet.
I have shoulder length hair and it got wrapped up around the power fins on the 1st use.
The suction seems comparable to my shark Rotator. The pet tools that they provide including the hand brush With powerfens doesn't really work well on carpeted stairs.
Lastly, This vacuum doesn't have the Self propel feature like other shark vacuums have so it's kind of heavy and bulky to push around..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Based on the results with the first Shark vacuum we bought, we recently purchased another. The top of the line product comes with numerous attachments--some of which you may never use (and adds to the cost)--but overall you're covered. It comes with a solid warranty. It is every bit as powerful as advertised, and works great on any surface.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought a shark vacuum about 8 years ago and used it unit the power cord went bad after 6 years. I decided to go with cheaper Bissell vacuum, which work well but just didn’t meet my expectations. I have a German shepherd, carpet, hard floors and stairs. I usually vacuum twice a day not to skip over the sofa, blinds and things like that. I decided to go big and this shark strati’s just does it for me. It is extremely powerful, and very versatile especially when you put all the attachments to work. I love that is also refreshes the air flowing through it. Best vacuum ever and worth the money. The only thing I would like for them to bring back is the light on the wand as well.

I’ve had my Shark Stratos for several months now. I had heard good things about Shark products, but I had a Dyson. Don’t get me wrong, I Ioved my Dyson, which meant the Shark had big shoes to fill! Out of the box it was simple to put together and I was soon cleaning up my new home construction dust, cat hair and dog hair (& he sheds more than all my previous pets!). The vacuum was easy to use and there are, of course, a few things I would change, but overall a well thought out, dignified workhorse.
I love the fact that it has lights. Nope, I don’t vacuum in the dark, but the lights illuminate things in dark corners and shaded places and I really missed that on my Dyson! It’s easy to maneuver and the slide to change from carpet to hard floor is right there, near your finger where it is easy to reach (i.e. where it should be). The attachments are simple to change and seem to work well. The vac itself picks up everything even all the dog bunnies and cat fuzz …. and no having to untangle hairs from the roller! The bin is super easy to empty, with a slide at the back, so you are less likely to accidentally empty it when you didn’t mean to, yikes! With construction dust, I’ve washed the filters many times and they come surprisingly clean with just water, dry quickly and are ready for the next use. The canister comes off (lift away) easily to facilitate getting under low furniture or for stairs, etc. the cord is long enough that I’m not constantly at the end of the line. I can do half my house from one receptacle and the rest from another. It’s super quiet for such a powerful machine. There are a few thing to work on, the canister topples over when off the machine due to the strong suction. (I just try to hold the canister or prop my foot near it. I think it needs outriggers! Lol) The button to release the canister to empty, in my opinion, should be on the other side so it can be released with one hand. And of course, the extra attachment posts could be better thought out, there are only 2 & they can be in the way of reseating the canister or winding the cord. I just put my 2 favorite attachments on the posts and use the others from the attachment bag, as needed.
So far, and I’ve used this machine a lot, I love my Shark! I do not love to clean, but Shark has made this chore less distasteful. It’s quick and reliable and has impressed me more than I thought it would. I would recommend this vacuum highly.
