Step up from my old vacuum

I bought this to replace my old Shark Professional, which had served me well over several years. After using the Shark Stratos my carpet nap looked so much cleaner and newer. The Stratos was definitely a great choice. I love it!

Best vacuum so far

Have had Shark vacuum’s for many years. It was time for another. My sharks still work but I need a bigger one with so many fur babies in the house. The suction is fantastic and the cord is long. The best part is the German shepherd hair does not get caught in the roller, not one hair. That’s a game changer. Keep it up Shark !

After my Bissell started losing thunder I waffled between shark and Dyson. Always hear great things so decided to give this bundle a try, and I love it! The suction is insane. The powerfins pet attachment is fantastic for my fabric couch and dog. Easy to empty and use overall. If it holds up over time I'll probably never buy anything else

I finally found a vacuum that can handle my house and three dogs. This is the third one I’ve bought and I it’s the one! The suction is great and the no hair gets caught on the roller. I vacuum daily and the Shark makes it a breeze. I’m so happy I got the Shark and highly recommend it.

It's fabulous with one annoying flaw

I purchased this a few months ago when my second Dyson (which lasted over six years of almost daily use) died. I thought it might be time for a change. I watched The Vacuum Wars Guy and chose the Stratos. It came bundled with the steam mop (Who needs a steam mop? Turns out, I DO!)
I am 95% thrilled with the vacuum. It has one singular and irritating issue. The hose needs to be longer or more flexible. Every. SINGLE. Time. I use the wand in any capacity the entire unit tips over. No exception. Also, I don't want to carry both the canister AND the wand to clean the fans, the pendants, the cobwebs, etc...
I am certain, I'll get tired of replacing/washing the filters and I don't like the scent stuff, but each time I'm feeling the love for this machine, it tips over.

It is extremely Heavy

The vacuum is ok when using as regular vacuum on hard wood floors and carpet but when you take apart to use to do stairs or ceilings or corners hose doesn't stretch long enough and the whole unit come flying at you and will pull you right down the stairs. It has hit in to my ankles numerous time, I am hoping in time that it will stretch out. I am pretty strong and the tank compartment is just to heavy to carry around while you do hard to reach spots. When you put attachments on and use it pulls the whole vacuum towards you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works so well for pet hair

Best vacuum I've ever owned! So easy to put it together. It picks up pet hair very good. I love the fact that you can wash the filters out. Even the canister that you dump from can easily be removed and washed out. It's a little heavy but maneuvers very easily. Does a great job around edges. You can take the tank off so it goes under furniture.
