I bought this last year and was surprised at the amount of grime and basset hound hair it sucked out of what were supposed to be clean, freshly vacuumed floors. I love the power of this vacuum and the extra long cord. My only complaint is that the fins are wearing too excessively for 13 months use. Worth every penny.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best vacuum cleaner in the world.

I bought this about a year ago after getting a new Norwegian Elkhound puppy and they shed continuously Evan after the two big sheds a year. This vacuum cleaner picks up like I have never seen before. The very best for pet hair and dirt extraction from carpets or area rugs.

Bought about 6 months ago because I needed the ultimate vacuum for 2 dogs. Well I think the dog hair has froze up the reel "power fins". Lot of money for vacuum that is already broken.

Not As Good As The Apex- Don’t Waste Your Money

Sorry I purchased the Stratos model. It is not nearly as good as the Shark Apex that I bought a few years ago. The Stratos is much louder and the headlight is not as bright. The “headlight” was one of the main reasons I bought any Shark vacuum. The third reason I do not like the Stratos as well as the Apex is that the detachable nozzle does not have a light to see when you want to reach a dark corner.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beware Of The Rubber Fins

As the owner of a corded stratos corded stick vac, I find the rubber fins to be a horrible design. I have now owned this vacuum for almost 4 1/2 months now and clean like a fein. The rubber fins tear and the material strip on the bottom of the motor head have come undone. I am not sure if the rubber fins are suppose to wear down and rip after continual use. I have had other shark vacs which I have enjoyed thoroughly, but I cant say the same about this one….
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dog hair destroyer!

I’ve always used Shark vacuums because I own a Siberian Husky but this Stratos is by far the best! I did my own test with my daughter’s vacuum (not a shark) by using it first then using my Stratos, all I can say is WOW! It picked up dog hair that I couldn’t even see, best vacuum ever!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have 4 Aussies and they shed constantly. This is the best vacuum I’ve ever owned. Even after vacuuming with my Kirby, this vacuum removed so much dirt and hair from my carpet. I was amazed at the performance and the attachments and features make my cleaning so much easier.
