Stopped working within 6 months . Shark has been nothing but a headache. This is 3 vacuums in a year. Will never buy another shark.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Shark Stratos makes cleaning much easier!

The Shark Stratos that we recently purchased is a phenomenal machine! It easily gets the dirt along the sides of the floors and has tremendous suction. I use the 3 different levels setting all the time and it functions perfectly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The steam mop is much smaller than my daughter's stratos and thee were only 3 acceessories and she got a bag full. Why did I get short changed? Just because it was listed as a sale price? Not right.

HOLY COW!. MY DYSON BROKE DOWN AND I DIDN'T WANT TO PAY PREMIUM PRICE FOR A VACUUM RIGHT NOW. BOUGHT THIS SHARK STRATOS JUST IN THE MEANTIME UNTIL I GET MY BONUS, AND I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF IT AND THE EASENESS TO USE IT. MY CARPET ARE AS CLEAN AS MY NEW DYSON DID FIVE YEARS AGO AND FOR THE HALF OF THE MONEY. THANK YOU SHARK!!!

I am disappointed, I thought I bought the top of the line model. To me lighting is very important. The 5 front lights aren't great, are actually dimmer than my old shark. I was also hoping there was a light on the wand part to see reaching into dark areas. Couldn't find that on any specs of any machine. So I was hoping. Nope. Glad you lengthened the cord though.

I just bought this and used it for the first time over the weekend. I got this vacuum to replace a 7 year old Shark vacuum that was on its last legs. The good: my house hasn't been so clean in probably years. I didn't realize I should have probably replaced my old vacuum a while ago. It did an impressive job. The plastic fins worked great on the hardwood floors to get every little thing. It was easy to empty the bin when it got full. The things I struggled with or wish were different: I love that it has headlights, and wish they were repositioned to be on the end of the hose as well. I use the hose to get into gaps behind furniture, and not having a light made it so I couldn't see if I had gotten everything vacuumed up. The plastic fins made it a bit awkward to steer the vacuum (it wants to go straight), and the weight of the vacuum is pretty heavy for me. I appreciate that I can take the canister off the wand to lighten it, but then I am vacuuming with both hands full, which is also awkward. Oh, and it has such amazing suction (yay) that it thought it was clogged when I used it over a washable rug (it is a thin rug, but I could only vacuum it using the "high pile" setting. Odd. Those are my main takeaways. I am hoping to get used to it and have my own approach to accommodate for the idiosyncrasies I have noticed. Really, though, for performance and overall awesome vacuum, you can't go wrong.
