No Hair-Wrapping! YA!

I have two cats and pretty long hair myself. That combo is a challenge for normal vacuums. So far so good. Had to do several passes to get everything picked up, but no hair wrapping which is HUGE! Hopefully it will only get better from here! Absolutely obsessed with the waste cup - the fact that you can open and close it without coming in contact with the dirt and dust? Amazing!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just received my shark stratos and used it for the first time today and let me tell you… if you are on the fence about purchasing this vacuum just do it. I took this photo after vacuuming the basement which is fully carpeted. I usually vacuum this carpet 1-2 times a week with a shark pet pro cordless stick vacuum and our trusty old Kirby vacuum. We also had a company come in and professionally clean this carpet within the past 6 months. This photo shows how much the stratos picked up after going over the carpet just one time. I am shocked and disgusted, but I feel really good about this purchase because I myself was on the fence because of the price. I am so glad I bought this vacuum.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought a month ago and so far it performs well. My only complaint is the position of the power cord. Wish it was designed to be in the handle and not half way down the vacuum. Gets in the way when vacuuming.

I like the vacuum, it does a great job of cleaning. The powerhead does a good job on all surfaces. My only complaint is about the whine that it produces. I contacted Shark and they replaced the handle and hose which made it a bit quieter but it is still annoying. I feel like I need to wear hearing protection to use it. I believe the power head is not belt driven but air driven which produces the noise. This is something to consider if considering this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
