Excellent product & improved!

I've had Shark vacuums for many years now. This one is excellent! Love that roller doesn't get swamped by hair or wool rug fabric. Excellent suction as well, better than my past vacuums. The dirt dump is most improved too. Easy and simple. Only thing I wish this one had was a air diverter when using the suction hose. This would help to not have to much air when trying to be gentle. All around this is a great vacuum!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am a Shark girl thru & thru. I’m obsessed with vacuums, I take amazing care of my vacuums, & with 4 boys, 2 dogs & 3 cats, I truly depend on my vaccuums. The Stratos is my fifth Shark vacuum. How disappointed I am. As I was with the green Rotater. But the stratos was expensive. 1) I think it’s so wack that all the attachments are different size then the previous shark vacuums. Make your product attachments universal dude. And 2) the suction isn’t anything compared to my MUCH OLDER white shark rotator professional. And does the deodorizer even do anything? Just so disappointed. Save your money. Maybe the shark detect will be better. Hopefully not a whole new different attachment size then the previous two. Cuz all these attachments are going to need their own room. I’ve never done this review thing before but I’m so bummed out. Yes, I could prob send it back but it was a gift from my husband.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awful Vacuum

Worst vacuum i have ever used !!!
Do NOT Buy !!
Always clogs have to clean filter all the time
Small canister can not vacuum a small sq ft house . Completely disappointing !!
Over heats all the time and shuts down
Wish I never bought those vacuum and stayed with a Dyson!!

LOUSY VACUUM

I purchased this vacuum 15 months ago to replace a Rotator which had worn out. I swear by Shark vacuums so I purchased the Stratos as an upgrade. What a mistake!! I totally disliked this vacuum from the beginning, from the weight of it, to the awkwardness at steering, but most of all, for the terrible way it performed. After 15 months of denial that this was the worst vacuum I ever used, I threw it in the trash. I hope it is out of stock because Shark is going to take it off the market. Very disappointed in this Shark product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wow! Why did I wait so long to purchase a Shark?! The Stratos is amazing. It has sooo much power, self propels, I love the headlight, and it's so easy to use!

Average Shark Vacuum

Good vacuum so far. Very smooth rolling. A few things I am not a fan of include:
-no light on the handle when you detach it from the upright portion. My old shark has this light and it is great to see the dirt when doing detailed work. Since this one does not have that, it is quite disappointing. I expected this to be an upgrade because it is a newer version, but it's really lacking on that part. Now I have to carry around a flashlight to be able to see.
- The beater brush seems to always be on no matter if you select hardwood floors or carpet. I'm afraid of damaging the floors now. Not sure if this is how it's supposed to be or not.
- The removable handle has to really be clicked into place for it to stay in the upright portion. Often I hear a click and think it's attached, then go to move the vacuum by the handle and it just pops out.
All in all I expected these little things to be better compared to my old vacuum, but it almost feels like I downgraded without the detail components.
