Love My Shark Stratos

I Love my Shark Stratos, I have 2 cats. This vacuum gets rid of all the cat hair in 1 sweep!. Definitely has helped my allergies. Love all the attachments, especially the 1 I use for the furniture.

Nice vacuum, but…

For reference, we have:
• LVP flooring throughout our entire house(no carpet except for some entry rugs);
• 3 indoor dogs;
• 3 indoor cats;
• I have been using the vacuum since I received it on April 18, 2025;
• I vacuum daily.
• I have only used Shark vacuums for the past 10+ years.

As a whole, I love this vacuum. It really does have good suction and seems to do a good job with picking up the animal fur. However, the tip of the hose wand is already fraying. I know from past experience with my last model that once the end of this tip does mess up it will not allow the vacuum to turn on because it won’t seat right and I will likely have to replace the entire hose unit. This is a big flaw to me. I vacuum daily and I use the wand almost daily too. I feel like this is something that should be addressed by the company. I would have given the vacuum a higher rating if mine weren’t already fraying less than a month into using the vacuum.

Great vacuum!

I Love Shark vacuums. I am a house cleaner and find that this particular vacuum works great for all types of floors and it’s light enough to use and carry around. It’s easy to clean as well. Overall a great vacuum.

Terrible vacuum - not worth the cost

I bought this vacuum to replace another shark that was over 12 years old. Don’t waste your money on this vacuum, the cord and features are terrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I absolutely love this vaccum cleaner it picks up so much dust and hair.I really can’t believe how much it actually picks up after Iv cleaned it out. It’s a really good suction and it glides around very easily .Very potable and not loud

Great vacuum when on sale

I've had the Shark Stratos upright for a month now and it's a great vacuum for the apartment which is 50% carpet and 50% hard flowing. It's easy to adjust for carpet or hard surfaces and the most convenient part is you can remove the vacuum unit as a handheld. The cord is sufficiently long enough to cover multiple rooms. The cleaning capability is far greater than my old Shark upright, keeps the allergens low. My only drawback is it doesn't store accessories (different cleaning heads) well. They get in the way when you want to disconnect and reconnect the handheld section. I remove the accessories and attach them when needed, but have to stop and fetch the accessory to attach so it slows down the process. It's still a highly recommended vacuum, curious to know the longevity of it.
