Worst vacuum I have ever bought

I dont leave reviews but I have to say that this is the worst vacuum I have ever purchased. I usually love shark products but this vacuum is awful. It makes it where I absolutely dread a chore I used to not mind doing. I hardwood floors and 2 rugs. It is ok on hard surfaces but I have to stop and reset it multiple times when I go over my very low pile rugs because the roller sensor trips 3 or 4 times EVERY TIME, I can only imagine it would have a difficult time cleaning high pile carpets. The cord hook is useless and too big to hold the cord securely so I have to hold the cord out of the way the entire time I'm using it. The bristles on the brush attachment are not turned in the right direction to be able to sweep properly. Just over all a poorly designed vacuum. This was not a cheap vacuum but it sure does perform like one. What happened to sharks being comparable to dysons??

The vacuum does very well overall. I have two things that could use improvement. My precious shark has a light on the wand when using the crevice tool or fabric tool, I miss that on this model. The other minor thing is after winding the cord then removing the canister to dump the cord slips in the way while putting it back on, the older model did not have this happen. Just have to use other hands to hold back the cord.

Great vacuum for the price

I bought the Shark Stratos about a month ago. I love it. It was easy to assemble. The Stratos is easy to change from bare floor to long carpet as you work your way through the house. The removal filter to allow for vacuuming under low items is very easy to do. It picks up cat fur with no problem as well as the fine dust. The dirt ben is easy to remove and dump. The only thing it could haveis...It does have storage for 2 of the 3 different nozzles, I wish there storage for all 3.

Exactly what I needed! I have a white Boxer and black carpet (wonderful combination, I know!) and this vacuum picks up EVERYTHING!

This is another Shark classic. Rugged and well performing. Missed out on the 5th star for 2 reasons. 1. A bit on the heavy side. 2. The introduction of a consumable part in the form of the air freshener. I would rather not have a lifetime commitment to buying air freshener.
