Great Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for about a month and it picks up absolutely everything. It is good on carpets and hardwood floors, easy to maneuver, compact and stores easily. The attachments are useful for vacuuming the nooks and crannies as well as furniture would definitely recommend!

GREAT SUCTION

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my Shark Navigator with this Stratos, in comparison and it has better suction power. It works great on both hard flor surface and carpets. I do miss the slight self propelling of the Navigator, and the detaching and reattaching takes a little more effort to do, but not a big deal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark Stratos upright vacuum is awesome. I really like the odor technology. The suction is great. The carpets look so much better. It glides right over all the carpets which is so nice. The house always feels and smells fresh after vacuuming. The cord is long enough as well to get quiet a few rooms done at a time which is very nice. This is such a nice vacuum. It is easy to empty as well. This is a quality vacuum. I would highly recommend!

Powerful and Versatile

I especially like the feature where you can remove the entire motor/dustbin for times where you don't want to drag around the whole thing. I found this especially handy when I was vacuuming my sofa. It is amazing how much dust and debris you get from a fabric sofa and chairs. The powered hand-held attachment has a spinning brush on it and I think that was particularly responsible.
For regular vacuum use the suction is powerful and the brushes get the job done. I really like that you can adjust for carpet length with a switch on the top of the handle instead of it being down by the base. My house is mostly hardwood with rugs and a couple carpeted rooms so I especially appreciate not having to reach all the way to the base every time I switch rooms or surface types.
The brushes are strong enough to propel the vacuum forward, so when pushing it across carpet you have a bit of an assist, but when you pull the vacuum you can feel extra resistance. This is a little extra work but has the affect of really fluffing up the carpet and getting every last bit of dirt.

The set up and installation are easy with the instructions manual. My floors have never looked better, this vacuum picks up dust, dirty, crumbs & any debris from a variety of floor surfaces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] why it took so long for me to get a vacuum that can handle pet hair i'll never know! this is designed with a self-cleaning brushroll. previously i would burn out the motor or break a belt because the dog hair catches on the roller and i'd be cutting out the hair or using pliers to get it out. so appreciate this self cleaning brushroll designed to handle my dogs hair!

SUPER POWERFUL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is an absolute beast - the suction is super strong whether you have the wand detached or are using the full roller. I immediately noticed how trim it was, especially for how strong it seems to be, but it is not as maneuverable as other shark vacuums I've had in the past for some reason. It just doesn't seem to turn as tightly or as easily, and it is quite heavy for its apparent size. All of that said, I am super happy with the cleaning this vacuum does, and the lift away is super convenient for us (we have a spiral staircase in our home). On that note, I should mention that you need to uncoil the entire cord to use the lift away since the cord wraps around both separate pieces of the vacuum. Maybe worth considering.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off if you have any Shark products you know they are the highest quality around.This heavy duty Shark is light weight,easily glides on carpet and flooring ,I simply detach the dust chamber to go smoothly under my couch and beds and it swivels in any direction collecting my cats fur balls and dust.This sweet Shark vacuum even scents the air and is bagless with a long removable hose to catch anything in corners that you may miss. I can’t rave enough on this vacuum and I don’t get back pain like I would using my old vacuum.( which is now in the garage) I have already had 3 family members use it over the holiday weekend and they now are buying one. I can’t wait to get my mother one to make her cleaning easier.It’s a superior vacuum and I highly recommend buying one for you and to gift.Thank you Shark for another great vacuum!
