LOVE my new Shark!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned Shark vacuums for about 17 years now. This is my 3rd one.
I retired the one we had in the house out to get garage to be used to sweep out the cars and got this one as its replacement.
First thing I noticed is that it has a longer cord that my last one. I don't have to unplug it and plug it in somewhere else as much when cleaning the house as I can reach more areas with the longer cord. Thanks for that.
You can also adjust from different carpets heights to bare floor right on the handle now. Very convenient.
And it's a Shark. So of course it has GREAT suction and does an amazing job cleaning.
Not sure I like the push button turn on which is now on the handle. I have a little bit of a difficult time turning that on with arthritis in my hands.
Overall though I am extremely happy with this vacuum.
If you've never tried a Shark vacuum, give it a try. You'll be happy you did, and amazed at all the dirt it will pick up from your clean floors!

Powerful Suction!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! The Shark Stratos Upright Vacuum has powerful suction! I am impressed! I have never owned a vacuum that picks up hair and suctions this well. I vacuumed the carpet twice, and the dust cup was full of hair and dust. Later in the week, I did it two more times, and it still packed up a lot of hair and dust. The vacuum is on the heavier side. I tend to use more arm movements to guide the vacuum than wrist movements due to the weight. Emptying the dust cup is easy, and there are two openings for the dust cup! The lift-away feature is helpful, but I don't use it often because it is heavy for me to move around. I love that hair doesn't get stuck around the brush roll! It saves me so much time in maintaining the vacuum. Maintenance is easy, but it requires cleaning the filters once a month to keep the vacuum working well. With my carpet being around ten years old and having a gravel driveway, this vacuum is a lifesaver for my carpet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum has every feature that I require: powerful suction, lightweight, it cleans the WHOLE house and I mean everything, not just floors. Excellent suction that does not wrap around, no scent of dust coming from it. This vacuum delivers all of this!! It is easy to navigate around furniture and I find it fun to use. I am so glad that I found this vacuum. It is the best one I have ever had.

Super light weight qnd easy to use. Easy to put together, and great suction. Doesn't get stuff wrapped around the roller, qnd the handle has great suction as well.
