[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark Stratos upright vacuum was very easy to put together and took less than 15 minutes. The vacuum picks up dirt and crumbs so well. I also appreciate the super long cord, which allows me to go from one room to another easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I really wanted a cordless vacuum because I figured it would be easier to move from room to room. I was wrong. The long cord makes it easy to cover large areas and never looses power. It is light and easy to use. Works great on all the different surfaces in my house. I go from tile to rugs to wood floors and it sucks up all of the dirt. It works amazing and is very easy to empty out. Has lots of power too. I would really recommend this vacuum to everyone.

The quality and value are the best and the performance of this vacuum is great. Shark has the best products out there and they seem to hit it out the ball park. I love a powerful vacuum and this is absolutely the best yet. Very lightweight and most importantly very powerful. I definitely will recommend this model to everyone. Thanks for a great product.

An absolute work horse!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a Shark fan…I have assorted vacuums, appliances, and cookware, and I’ve been pleased with them all, so I certainly was happy to pick up the Stratos Power Lift Away Vacuum. I’m not surprised that I love it, and let me tell you why.
First off, the vacuum came in perfect condition, well packaged, stowed in such a way that it can be constructed as you lift components out of the box. In fact, one of the boxes flaps comes printed with instructions on how to get this put together.
Assembling was intuitive, and only took a minute or two and we were ready to go. The cord is long, and the arm of the vacuum has a place to clip in the top so it isn’t as cumbersome to keep track of, and help the cord stay out of your path.
There is an easy to use on and off button, and it stays on by itself (I’ve used other vacuums that required you hold onto a lever). There is a setting for 3 floor types, and I’ve found them to be accurate.
It moves smoothly, even though it is on the heavy side. There is a light, which I love, that help illuminate my path, which is especially nice in dark corners. The self cleaning brush roll really does work, keeping the head hair free, and common problem in the past.
The dust cup is large, which means I have to empty it less, which means, thankfully, the job gets done more quickly and I have more time to relax! The handle releases easily when needing attachments for small jobs, and the wand itself releases when you need more reach. The design is intelligent and elegant.
My favorite feature is the odor neutralizer…it works well, and it certainly freshens as it cleans. Many vacuums start to smell stale or of dirt, but this feature keep it smelling like crisp and clean.
This vacuum is heavy, which I appreciate as it seems like it’s made of quality components…and this, along with my previous experience with Shark products, means it will last a very long time. It also has a large head, which is great for getting finished quicker, but means it’s difficult to get into tight spaces. It is loud, but not beyond expectation…this is a beast that means to do hard work, and well.
This vacuum has earned a place in my utility closet for years to come. Another excellent product from the folks at Shark, and I do recommend!
