Great suction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a pretty good vacuum.
The vacuum allows for cleaning of different surfaces by having 3 different settings (high carpet,low carpet and hardwood floors), all easily adjusted with a switch on the handle bars. The canister can be lifted away and used with the supplied hand tools, which makes stair cleaning so much easier.
My favorite part is the self cleaning brush, no more wrapped around hair! With 3 cats and two long haired daughters, this is very convenient.
A negative for me is the weight of the vacuum! It is very heavy and hard to carry to a different floor of my house.

My Navigator finally died and the Stratos was my choice to replace it. Love so many of the updates. The roller. The dirt cup and HOW it empties! The cord length. These all sound like little things but to me they really aren't!
The only negative update I've found is the light is gone on the wand. That light made vacuuming dark corners so easy, why did they leave it off the Stratos?
Yes it's pricey, but if you use it daily like I do, it's worth it!

I love my new Stratos! I have long hair that seems to desert me when it chooses, leaving
strands of evidence behind. I also have 3 German shepherds or as we lovingly call them "German shedders who think that people call it fur-niture because it's for them. None of this is an issue for my new Stratos! I do miss the light on the wand handle though...

I'm keeping my Shark Stratos, however it is so powerful it is hard to push along your carpeting. There are 3 east settings for hardwood, short pile, and long pile carpets. It does a great job but the suction is overwhelming. Not for anyone frail. This thing is a beast.

I was waiting for up to a year for shark to release a new model upright and out of the blue I decided to check sharks website and there it was the new stratos! I bought my new shark stratos a month ago and vacuumed with my old kenmore first and then vacuumed again with my shark and I was amazed at how much my shark sucked up after my old kenmore.
I will definitely purchase a shark vacuum again plus I told my family and friends to buy one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum really sucks in a good way! The suction is quite powerful, so I have to make sure I am not vacuuming near something that I want that happens to be on the floor! It does a good job on carpet, tile, stairs and my car! The Shark does a fabulous job of sucking up fur, too! There are lights at the bottom that are great for helping with vision and they indicate if the vacuum is working properly by changing colors. My only complaint is that the power attachment piece is supposed to click in and mine didn’t. It seems very flimsy and detaches more than I would like.

I bought this a month ago and am so happy that I did. This thing's a beast! Suction like you wouldn't believe. My floors, bare and carpeted, are clean. The attachments are very handy as well. Shark knocked another one out of the park.
