Bought to replace a 17yo Dyson. I was impressed by the suction and ease of use. Tools that came with it are good and functional for all sorts of cleaning. If it last 17 years I’d be happy with it. Only drawback, the hose only expands a few feet. I am constantly pulling over the upright when I use the hose. Have to convert to canister mode to use efficiently. Not a deal breaker. Just used to the long hose on the dyson.

But thing you can buy the air freshener is a great idea the bar that hair doesn’t wrap around just a wonderful sweeper

I bought the Stratos about a month ago. Ever time Shark comes out with 1 I buy it as soon as I can. I love love love the new 1. More suction than the Apex. I have 3 dogs and it picks up everything.

I love how versitile this vacuum is. I can reach almost all the places in my home that need dusting or vacuuming. I am very satisfied with my purchase. If you clean the filters and keep up with taking out the front roller to clean behind it, I am positive it will last a very long time.

This is our 2nd Shark vacuum, the first was a Navigator purchased around 7 years ago, which was ample but we decided we needed a more powerful vacuum having 2 dogs. The Stratos is definitely a rock star, not only does it really fluff up the carpeted areas but also pulls in debris along baseboards and does a better job overall. My only complaint is the quality of and the lack of LED lights, my older vacuum had many more LED lights and were much brighter. In reviewing the specs of all the vacuums, it looks like this feature has changed whereby there are less, but we found these to be very helpful when cleaning an area you think isn't too bad but then see the dog hair or dog cookie crumbs you didn't realize were there!

I recently purchased the Shark Stratos with pet accessories, only to find that the pet multi-tool is not included. Seems like it would have made sense to include that piece in the pet package! Now I have to purchase this separate piece.
