Stratos is the only good one.

The stratos vaccume is amazing. This was my last effort with shark. I have the detect, and the rotator as well. And both the detect and the rotator do not perform well at all. My first shark was the duo clean and was amazing until it finally gave out. We have Labrador dogs and need a vaccume that works. So save your money and buy the stratos first and you will be happy. The detect, and rotator are a waste of time if you need a vacccume that works well. I now have 3 new sharks and only one that works as it should. Beware.

Great vacuum but not as good as my previous Shark

I loved my previous Shark vacuum and hoped a new one would be just as great. Unfortunately, my new Stratos Upright is a great vacuum, but not as great as my last one. The new Stratos could certainly use a few improvements. The cord is shorter, the wand lever is difficult to push down to release the wand, and it needs some heavy force to secure it back in the holder, which is annoying. The wand is also lacking the light at the end which my previous model had. The turning radius ability is lacking compared to my previous Shark and it is a bit heavy. For these reasons, it only received 4 stars.
On a good note, it was very easy to assemble. The suction is great! And just like my last Shark, I love the lift-away ability. I haven't had it long enough to comment on the Hair Pro brush roll.
Hoping it lasts as long as my last Shark which we had for about 15 years.

I adore this vacuum. We bought it to replace an 18 year old Dyson that we just couldn’t repair anymore. I’m so glad we couldn’t. I vacuumed with that and then vacuumed with this and almost gagged. What is this filth I’ve been living in? Ugh.

Love my Shark Vacuum

I love my new shark vacuum. There are 2 things I would like to see changed. Number 1 the chord is shorter than previous Shark vacuum’s I’ve owned, second I wish there was a way to keep the headlight on when you use the hose.

Got the shark stratos because of a broken dust cup on a shark professional vacuum. I forgot what the whole name was. I started this vacuum up and it immediately started getting dusty in the dust cup. I didn’t even move. The dual brush system works great. I sucked things up ranging from Oreos to baby puffs to cat litter. Leaves a great feel on hard wood floors. Smells great to because of the odor neutralizer cartridge. I thought I had it all with the old shark vacuum I had and then I got this one today. Hope that with this vacuum and my air purifier can keep things clean.

very upset with this purchase. The suction is way to strong to the point I am unable to use this vacuum on some of the rugs in our house. This was a huge waste of money considering I am going to have to buy another vacuum just to be able to vacuum the rugs. Would not recommend.

For thicker carpet types or area rugs, slide the surface selector to Thick Carpet/Area Rug, as this setting reduces suction and should allow for easier movement. If adjusting the floor setting doesn’t help, you may also want to try using Powered Lift‑Away® mode, which can make cleaning rugs easier and more controlled.

Have been looking for something to replace my OLD dyson dc17 for awhile... Have bought several different sweepers. Finally bit the bullet and bought a shark as I have many shark/ninja products and love them all! Let me tell you... I LOVE THIS SWEEPER!!!! The first 4xs I ran it i was getting full dirt cups. Finally the dirt started to be about 3/4 now about 1/2. I have to run my sweeper everyday as I have animals. BEST SWEEPER IVE HAD SINCE MY DYSON BY FAR!!! SPEND THE $$$$, GET THE SHARK!!!!
