Vertuo’s problems!!

I bought my first one and they replaced it. After over a year, the second one had the same problem, yellow light flashing and leaked all over the counter…
I kept my little Essenza, my first one and it works fine. The difference is the coffee …original ones aren’t as good .
So no, I don’t recommend the Vertuo , they don’t last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend the first time use steps at least once a week as part of your machine maintenance, to flush water through your machine and rinse away any coffee granule buildup. Great coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It makes great coffee and works great…until it doesn’t. My machine has been having trouble with any pod over 7.7 oz but I just stopped buying those. This is our second machine. It seems our first machine is about to die but we’ve used it a lot in the 12 months we’ve had it and already bought the replacement machine so we won’t miss a day when the first one dies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not efficient - Gets Stuck in Descaling

Machine gets stuck in descaling mode each time. I dread descaling because I know it's always going to take hours to do it. I always have to call the support center. They are helpful but it's time consuming to do it every time every 3 months. This process should be 20 mins and takes 2 hours every time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great and Reliable

Ive had mine for a few years and I had to replace it when I first got it because what we are thinking is that it was dropped before I got it as a gift and it showed. After that ive had it ever since. I think ive had it for about 4/5 years. I know how to clean it and when it clogs when you dont use it for a bit you just rotate the inside above the podholder and boom its fine. I love it. I can use the xl to the single pods.

Hunk of Junk

This is our second machine, which was supposed to be a step up in quality from the first. But it was an aggravating leap backwards. The design is flawed in many aspects, including how the lid closes and the way the tray sits on the machine. The lid is fidgety and is difficult to lock- many times it rejects the way I close it. The tray has fallen off mid-brew multiple times, and it is very difficult to clean the area where it attaches to the machine. Not well thought out. Also the coffee isn’t as good. Just a hateful, frustrating machine that will make you swear out loud.

Excellent Espresso Machine.

This is a good machine and it lasted me for a few years since we use it alot daily. I ordered the same brand in Red. When I make my espresso, I add a piece of lemon and brown sugar. I use a a half straw to drink because of my veneers teeth to avoid staining. Then I drink a glass of water afterwards. Helps me digest.
